Trudie Bentley
Family Liaison Officer for Northwood Park Primary.
I have previously been the Family Liaison Officer at Villiers Primary School before moving to Northwood Park. My background consists of Deputising within nursery, this helped to understand child development. I enjoy helping children thrive to achieve their aspirations. I have two young boys and have a lot of lived experiences. My passion continues to be working with children, I treat them all as my own. I have the drive and dedication to never give up on my children and families.

Katie Ryder
Family Liaison Behaviour Lead for Northwood Park Primary.
I have three boys of my own, my eldest child has Asperger’s and Dyspraxia. I understand the difficulties of what home life can be like with a child with needs. My specialism is Bereavement as this is an area that I have had personal experience in and have supported others through. I have previously worked in a Primary School in early years for 8 years. My passion is to make sure every child’s voice is heard and to give them a positive happy start during their time in education.

Barbara Smith
Family Liaison Behaviour Lead for Villiers Primary School
My name is Mrs Smith. I am the Family Liaison Support Officer at Villiers Primary School. I have worked here for 8 years across the school, supporting our children. I have 5 children of my own, aged between 11 and 29 years, as well as 1 grandchild. As a parent I have faced many challenges and therefore understand the difficulties that many parents face. My passion is to support our families in overcoming these challenges that they may be facing themselves.

Gemma Whittaker
Intervention Worker for Villiers Primary School
For the past 18 years I have worked supporting children across the school in all the different key stages. For the past 7 years I have worked in the Early Years and helped to run the Sparkle Club for our children with SEND needs. I have two young children of my own. My passion is helping all children succeed and reach their full potential. I can offer guidance and emotional support also help connect families with appropriate resources and services in the community.

Family Liaison Officer for Busill Jones Primary School
I have worked in a school environment for many years in a variety of roles supporting ages between 4- 11 years. The role of a Family Liaison Officer has enabled me to grow both personally and professionally. I have had the opportunity to support many of our children and families during challenging times and it is rewarding to celebrate their successes. Each day provides me with new opportunities I feel grateful that I am part of a service that improves the outcomes of our children and families. My specialism is Trauma Informed and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).

Sara Maynard
Family Liaison Officer for Busill Jones Primary School
I’ve work full time at Busill Jones Primary School, where I have the privilege of inspiring and supporting students every day. I am also the proud founder of a Community Interest Company (CIC) that supports women who have experienced domestic violence and empowers young females in schools. Through our programs, I focus on helping young girls develop self-love, understand healthy relationships, and build confidence. In addition to my work at Busill Jones and running my CIC, I’m also a part of Walsall Children’s Services, where I support children in care. My passion lies in helping young people succeed and creating opportunities for them to thrive, both in school and in life. As a mother to a 15-year-old daughter, I’m personally invested in the growth and well-being of the next generation. With a background in NHS administration, I bring strong organizational skills and a compassionate approach to all my roles. My journey is driven by the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to feel empowered and achieve their full potential.

Family Liaison Officer for Lodge Farm Primary School
I have extensive experience in Early Years provision and Children's Centres, supporting children and young people aged 0 to 19 years. As a Family Liaison Officer, Deputy DSL, and Mental Health Lead, I work closely with families in our local community facing high levels of deprivation and various challenges. I focus on building positive, trusting relationships, enabling me to provide tailored support and interventions that meet the unique needs of each family. I am passionate about helping families achieve the outcomes they deserve. My specialism is in Domestic Abuse, where I offer guidance and support to ensure safety and well-being for all.

Lizze Robinson

I am a mum to two beautiful children and live in a neurodiverse household, meaning, I can empathise and appreciate the challenges that parents face, as I face them in my personal life. I joined Lodge Farm Primary knowing that with mu unique perspective enables me to support school in offering bespoke support to our children and to our parents also. My specialism is Mental Health and Wellbeing, focusing on Self Harm Prevention

I worked within the NHS for 12 years whilst transitioning into a primary school setting, where I took on roles in pastoral care, ELSA support, and sports leadership. During this time, I had the privilege of supporting numerous children and families through challenging times. Now, as a Family Liaison Officer at Crowmoor Primary School, I am able to apply my experience and knowledge, while continuing to develop new skills to support children and their families in building a brighter future within our community.”
